Maggie's Rescue is not an animal shelter which means that we care for all our animals through our amazing network of foster carers. Our FOSTER TO ADOPT program has been designed to provide a safe and nurturing temporary home for animals in need until their adoptive home is found. Some of our cats are going through a transitioning process so may not be ready for adoption. All the cats on this page have gone through our home-ready program and are now ready to go to their furever homes.
If you are interested in adopting one of our beautiful cats, please follow the Adopt Me link in their profile. Please include their name before submitting your enquiry. One of our volunteer Cat Intakes Coordinator's will be back in contact with you as soon as their schedule permits. Your application will be sent to the foster carer, who will contact you directly to arrange a Meet & Greet of their foster cat. They will discuss the complete adoption process with you then.
Thanks Fuzzy Beast Studio for your amazing photos!
Maggies Rescue is a registered animal welfare charity, a co-operative of compassionate and committed carers that support our goals of rescue and rehoming of companion animals. Maggie’s Rescue is different in that we don’t have a physical shelter. Our FOSTER TO ADOPT program has been designed to create a nurturing and loving temporary home for animals in need until a permanent home is found. All our foster carers participate in an Induction session prior to joining our program and receive on-going training on best practice care for all our rescued animals.
Maggie’s Rescue is committed to offer the best solutions for stray and abandoned animals in our community by connecting in with other rescue organisations, councils and government bodies, to develop and support programs that end the cycle of stray and abandoned animals.
We are also committed to educate our community on the benefits of desexing of their pets and provide discounted or no cost desexing when our funds permit.
But our most important goal, is to find these companion animals, permanent homes with families who will commit to loving them for their whole life, not just Christmas. All our animals are vet checked, de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped and wormed before they go to their adoptive homes.
